Best Mexican place around! The staff is excellent and so is the food!

Love the steak and mushrooms taco salad. Of course, a sangria pairs well with it.

Over all the food was good. I had chicken with grilled peppers and onions in a taco salad and I had way to many onions and the plate had a pool of liquid on it which made the taco bowl soggy! And for me, the salsa had way to much cilantro, but it was still good. The chicken had great flavor as did the other meals at the table, they all had no complaints.

Great chips and salsa! Service is always fast and friendly! One of my favorite restaurants in Valparaiso!

I ordered the nachos Las cabanas as a meal. Best nachos I've had in a looooong time. I need to go back and try more food here. All the staff was very friendly. They all seemed happy to be there and quick to refill drinks or help in any way. They were pretty busy, but everything came out of the kitchen in a timely manner. Next time I'm trying a margarita. Everyone around us had at least one, so I'm guessing they're good. I really can't wait to go back.

I'm courteous service and delicious food

The delicious food is almost as good as the excellent service here. I have been a regular customer here since they opened and have never been disappointed and have never left here hungry. Their patio is huge and quite comfy too.

The salsa is the perfect homemade combination of flavor and spice. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their portions are generous (I literally always have leftovers). The staff is friendly and efficient. But let me tell you, the real five star earner is the margarita. A giant margarita you can barely finish with the perfect kick of tequila and fruity flavors. One of my favorite places in town.

Food was awesome, I had the Steak Chimichanga. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The wife had 2 margaritas and she said they were delicious. It was a Saturday around 6pm. It was BUSY! We chose to sit at the bar so we didn't have to wait for seating. The drinks were so colorful and they were making a ton of them, so I'm sure they are a hit. We will definitely be going back. Me and my wife had dinner, she had 2 margaritas, and I had 2 beers. Price was $50. Not a bad date night.

Not very much waiting room so the first 15 min were awkward, but the food and service was good!

I like this restaurant very much. theres a very nice atmosphere. The kitcen is good. the service is powerful and the waiters are very professional. The pay is decent. I highly recommend.

Love the food there. It's really tasty and not expensive. My girlfriend got a monstrous 36 ounce margarita and we had a lot of fun :) The service is good too. They always take good care of us :)

I was impressed! Had chicken nachos. So much chicken! I could not come close to finishing.

My favorite menu item is probably the Carnitas Tacos because the pork is so tender and juicy. The 1/2 lime & 1/2 strawberry frozen margarita is killer. There is usually a wait during the weekend, but you get seated quickly and the fresh ingredients and flavorful food are with it. My boys always find plenty to eat, too!

Nice staff. Fast and great food

La Cabana is a family favorite and has been for years. They have excellent chips and salsa; I really enjoy their fajitas but I've never had anything bad on the menu. Parking is is convenient and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They have an outdoor dining area during the summer months that is outstanding.

Good food but feel rushed in and out most of the time. The food is always good, however, the spice is inconsistent. I've ordered the spicy steak tacos and have literally cried while eating them but other times I haven't even needed to drink my water through the meal. Last time we went, they were heavy on the salt.Great atmosphere for families. Large open rooms. Smaller bar area. Great outdoor area.

My favorite Mexican restaurant!! Chips and salsa are the best!!

Mexican restaurants need to have great chips and salsa. They were not. No salt on the chips and the salsa was just missing something. The white queso was good and the meals were good. Their Mexican rice was better than most places, but their refried beans were not up to par. I may eat here again, but it is definitely not my favorite Mexican place.

Great food with good service. The margaritas are the best! There was only one time we had an issue while there, but it was taken care of promptly. We will continue to frequent this place.

Even if the food we had was no good, it was great, we'd still go back just for the queso. Wow! Increíble! Our waitress, Lupe, did a wonderful job! She was very attentive to our needs & was quite personable and friendly. The atmosphere was great! Great location! Great food! Great prices for the amount of food you get. All around, we were satisfied. I will return. I highly recommend La Cabaña.

Very average tasting food. There did not appear to be any signature dishes that would give them a great rep. Service was also very average or maybe a bit below average. I feel there are too many great options available to eat here again. One nice feature they have is outdoor eating.

Great food, great service, friemdly staff, excellent drinks and they definitely give you your moneys worth in alcohol on the drinks. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

The service was impeccable. The servers were attentive and kind-- even though they were extremely busy. The food was delicious, authentic, and fairly priced. The decor created a delightful, Mexican ambience. There's also the option to eat outside with the fresh air. Suggestion-- be bold and try the Horchata (a cool, refreshing drink).

Love this place! My wife and I come here frequently, especially during the summer where you can eat outside. The food is great, and the margaritas are the best! Always a good time here, nice environment and awesome staff.

I've eaten here two or three times now and every time the food has been great. Well made, tasty Mexican cuisine at reasonable price points. Last night I had the Burrito La Cabaña and it was on point. A well portioned burrito with some delicious melted cheese on top. Service was fast and friendly. We were able to be seated right away and were well taken care of. Although I'll forever be a big fan of just the simple burrito joint, this is a great sit down Mexican restaurant and I highly recommend! I think I would like the opportunity to dine here again in their outdoor "cabaña". I would imagine an ice cold margarita on a hot, summer day would be a real treat!

Good Margaritas and food

Food is always good but our waitress was a little unhappy

I am a big fan, one of the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The salsa is packed full of flavors, the guacamole is creamy with great flavor and the entrees are huge. One of my personal favorite is the steak burrito covered in queso cheese that is just the right thickness to not be runny. The shrimp fajitas come with like 20 shrimps. The rice is excellent and the refried beans seemed a crowd favorite. I don't remember a bad item on the menu and don't forget a huge, strong margarita. Big fan!

My favorite Mexican in Valparaiso! Everything is Awesome...I could drink their salsa!
